FLUSHING MEMORIAL: TILDEN 1, 2 and 3 FIELDS

 

ROXBURY:
Cross Bay Blvd to Belt P'way westbound to Exit 11S (south) go over the Marine Park Bridge, bare right to 182nd street and make right to Roxbury field (182 street & State Road)

TILDEN 1, 2 and 3 FIELDS:
Same as above, go over Marine Park Bridge, bare right to breezy Point, at first light make a left, bare right to fields.
Field Locations:
A. Tilden 1 is located next to Tilden 3 near the main parking lot, behind the Chapel
B. Tilden 2 is located near the Flag Pole
C. Tilden 3 is the smaller field located near Tilden 1 near the main parking lot, behind the Chapel

BREEZY POINT:
Same as Roxbury directions except you must past 182nd street and continue to 210th street. You will be given a token, make left and then turn right at stop sign to the field.

Another alternative to Rockaway is the Belt Pkwy to exit 17S (this lets them go through Howard Beach - Broad Channel and over the bridge to Rockaway) take Cross Bay Blvd south to the Broad Channel Bridge bare right off the bridge on to Beach Channel Drive and continue West on Beach Channel Drive and follow signs to " Breezy Point". Fort Tilden is a left at the first light, drive into the facility (Field #2 is in front of the Administrative Building, next to the Flag Pole) (Field #1 & 3 are near the main parking lot closer to the ocean) or continue west to go to Roxbury and Breezy Point.

BROAD CHANNEL:
West side of Cross Bay Blvd, just south of Jamaica Bay Wildlife Center (behind American Legion Hall), you can also take Woodhaven Blvd to Cross Bay Blvd, pass Russo's On the Bay, go over the overpass, field will be on your right in approx ¼ mile.

FORT (Throgs Neck): Big Field (away from the Bridge)
Grand Central Expway to Clearview Exp North to last exit before toll, exit at Willets Point, turn right at light and go to 3rd light and turn left (basically a U-turn) and make left onto service road, field is on right, approx, 1/8 mile up to the right side (park car in lot).

Or Belt Pkwy to Cross Island Pkwy to exit 32 Bell Blvd, continue on the service road and park under the Throggs Neck Bridge

BRIDGE (Throgs Neck): Small Field (near the Bridge)
Same as above, they are next to each other

O'CONNOR PARK:
Either Grand Central Expressway or L.I.E. to the Clearview Expressway North (heading towards Throggs Neck Bridge) to 35th Ave (exit #6) make right at 35th Ave and go to approx ¼ mile to Corporal Kennedy and make a left, the park will be on your right side approx. 1/8 mile up the block.

BAYSIDE 29 FIELD:
Clearview Expressway to Exit #6 35th Ave stay on service road and make a left at 26 Ave and another left onto the service road (you are swinging around) and proceed to 29th Ave, field on right.

HOPE FIELD:
L.I.E. to Woodhaven Blvd Exit, make a right on Eliot Ave (by the train overpass) and go to 72nd Street (behind Church) on left side. (This is the small field)

BRENNAN FIELD:
Same as above, Juniper Valley North & 72nd Street, Middle Village

JUNIPER PARK:
LIE to Woodhaven Blvd Exit South make right at Eliot Ave, go to 80th Street make left and go to Juniper Valley North and make a right. Filed is on left hand side by 76th Street, Middle Village.

ST. GREGORY:
87th Drive between Commonwealth Blvd & Cross Island Parkway (From North and going South bound: take Cross Island P'way to Hillside Ave exit and go to traffic light and make left onto Hillside Ave go 1 Block and make right onto Commonwealth Blvd. Go a few blocks to 87th Ave make right 1 block to field. From South and going Northbound: Cross Island P'way to Jerico Turnpike exit and make right turn onto Jerico Turnpike go a few blocks to Commonwealth Blvd and make left onto Commonwealth Blvd then to 87th Ave and make left 1 block to field.

GLEN OAKS:
260TH Street & 74th Ave (two blocks North of Union Turnpike)

ALLEY SPRING:
On Springfield Blvd between 73 & 76th, (Parking Lot Entrance is on 76th Street. just off Springfield Blvd.) in Bayside.

CROCHERON PARK:
214TH Street & 33rd Road (field is behind tennis courts just beyond the back of the parking lot)

FLUSHING MEMORIAL:
(Use same directions as Flushing Field, they are next to each other) 149TH Street & Bayside Ave

FLUSHING:
Van Wyck North to 20th Ave Exit, make right on 20th ave go to 149th street make right. Field is on left 27th ave & 149th Street, Flushing NY.

CHARLES PARK:
Woodhaven to Cross Bay Blvd & go to 157th Ave and make a left & go to 96th Street and make a right then proceed ahead to Charles Park. If your coming from the Rockaway's you will be on Cross Bay Blvd and make a right on 157th Ave and follow directions as stated above.


ITALIAN FEDERATION / CON EDISON FIELDS:
Take the Grand Central Parkway going west and get off at exit #3 (Hoyt Ave). As you exit off the expressway bear all the way to your right and at the second light make a right turn on to 31 street. (Please note that you are making a right around Neptune's Diner and you will be driving underneath an elevated train line. The avenue numbers will be going lower, please go to 20th avenue. Make a right onto 20th Ave and go one block to 32nd Street, both fields are on your left hand side. Please note the entrance is next to a "slaughter house", you may hear the animals. The Italian Federation Field is the front field with bleachers on the left hand side, and the Con Edison Field is the back field.

SOUTHERN FIELDS:
They are located on North Conduit Avenue which is the service road for the west bound Belt Pkwy/Southern State Pkwy. The easiest way to get there is to get to the Belt parkway west and exit the Lefferts Blvd exit. Stay on the service road until you see the field on your left. Park up one of the cross streets to your right. The cross streets are 114th street to 121st street on North Conduit Ave in Howard Beach/Ozone Park Queens, 11414. If you log on to the NYC dept. of Parks and Recreation and search for the Southern Parkway Ballfields, you will find a great map.
