THE PASSION PLAY at St. Francis de Sales

On Wednesday of Holy Week, the whole school gathered in prayer and reverence to watch a group of students reenact the Passion of Our Lord. Through narration, song and dramatic performance, our students were able to portray the magnitude of Jesus's sacrifice for us and the hope and joy that is ours through His Resurrection.
 

 

 

 

Thanks to the 5th grade classes at St. Francis de Sales School, we had many visiting dignitaries to our school during the second trimester. As part of a Social Studies project, the students were required to research a famous person (or the creator of a famous character), prepare a PowePoint slideshow for in-class presentation, and construct and adorn a doll to represent that person. Great job, Fifth Graders!
